The stories in these books are not about real people, but they reflect typical experiences
of real children and describe common social interactions among children. They were
originally developed for a group of elementary school children with reading disabilities.
Some also had behavioral difficulties or came from families who acted out anger
inappropriately. In several stories, some characters behave inappropriately. This
